Team Clash Economy Guide - Jul ‘26
Lauren's back to walk you through July's Team Clash economy.
Team Clash returns and that means a whole new set of prizes from the XP tracks and in the shop. I'll help you know what to expect so you can optimize your resources toward what's right for you!
I'm personally worried that Lady Bullseye hasn't seen a ban (she was completely silly in the X-Men deck last time). For more strategy discussion like that and a bunch of decks, check out Scott's article!

Read on for coverage of the Team Clash economy!

Tips & Tricks
Lots of great economy optimization tips are the same every time an event runs. I keep those in a separate article so that this one can focus on what has changed! The "recurring tips" guide is always free and has great info for each event. If you want a refresher on those tips, check out this article and read the sections with the Team Clash logo.

4L Membership
The rest of this guide will get into the details of the Team Clash economy.
Fourth Location subscribers had early access to the full guide until the event was ~48 hours old.
Our articles depend on your support! Membership comes with perks like early access to LTGM economy articles and exclusive access to Hot Location decks but it's ultimately about supporting the kind of Snap content you want to see. I'm able to justify the many hours this takes because it helps support my family.
If you like what we're doing and have the means, please support us! Membership starts at just $4 a month. If you're already a subscriber, thank you. 🩵
Information Quality Disclaimer
Heads-up that as of July 5th (the day before the event starts), we still do not have any official communication from SD about the economy details of this event. I have written this to the best of my ability using information from past events and data mines (my thanks to Snap.Fan for the excellent data they provide). If needed, I'll update this based on official communication or in-game info ASAP.
Grand Prizes
The Free Pass rewards the new card, Tombstone, at 1,035 XP. Both Scott and I picked him for the #1 spot in our pre-season rankings. A 2-Cost that can destroy multiple cards in a predictable way and work around Cosmo? If you ever play any flavor of Destroy, you need this card.

The Premium Pass offers this exclusive Tombstone Variant by Beniamino Bradi. It features really lovely colors if you're into Variants with a more realistic art style (I personally prefer my Variants comic-booky)!

Tickets
It costs a Ticket to play a game. You get it back if you win. Winning also grants 10 Emblems and 10 XP. You'll get half as much for losing or tying.
That Ticket refund is what makes your win rate so important. A better win rate means stretching your Tickets further, ultimately resulting in more Glory and XP.
Starting Tickets: 6
Regenerating Tickets: 4 every 8 hours
Tickets Soft Cap: 9 (you cannot regenerate beyond this)
Tickets Hard Cap: 99 (you cannot have more than this)
Free Pass Tickets: 20
Premium Pass Tickets: 27
Total Free Tickets: 106
Total Premium Tickets: 133
Single Ticket Cost: 10 Gold
Ticket Bundle Cost: 7 for 50 Gold
A 50% win rate translates to two games per Ticket, on average. That’s one win and one loss, for 15 Emblems and 15 XP.
Mind the cap! To avoid wasted Ticket regen, never collect Tickets from the Passes or Shop until you want to play and have zero Tickets.
Missions
Unlike any other event, Team Clash bottlenecks your progress with both Tickets and Missions.
The Missions grant 20, 40, or 60 Emblems and XP.
- Starting Missions: 6
- Regenerating Missions: 3 every 8 hours
- Missions Cap: 6 (you cannot have more than this)
- Total Missions: 66
- Total Mission Emblems + XP: 2,640
- Single Mission Cost: 30 Gold
Passes
The Premium Pass costs 800 Gold and instantly rewards the following prizes whenever you buy it:
- 1,150 XP
- 2 Tickets
- 2 Red Web Borders
Here's everything you can find on the Passes (with the instant rewards shown at 0 XP):
Premium Value
In terms of progress value (how close you get to acquiring your next card), this Premium Pass matches all other modern full-length events, coming in at 63.42% value.
If your primary goal for your Gold is to acquire more cards, the Premium Pass is a bad buy.
It might be a good buy if you want to…
- Skip the mode without skipping Tombstone
- Grab more cosmetics from the event (especially the exclusive ones!)
And those really get to the bulk of the Premium Pass's value. You get a bunch of extra XP (to skip to Tombstone) and a bunch of extra Emblems (to spend in the Shop).
Time Investment
This table shows how many Tickets/Games you’ll need in the last two columns. These numbers are based on:
- Whether you bought the Premium Pass
- What your goal is
- What your win rate is
The Premium Pass saves ~47 games if you're just in for Tombstone, or ~49 games if you want to complete the Pass.
With 106 free Tickets available, it is very doable to complete the Pass for free. Y'know, if you have the time to play that much and that frequently. It should at least be easy for anybody to grab Tombstone.
The Shop
Here's what you can buy with your precious Emblems and Gold:
Each Portal Pull will randomly give you one of the three you haven’t already pulled. And – holy moly! – this is one of the best Portal Pull batches I've ever seen. I expect lots of players will go for two or even three pulls.

Variant Series
This can be useful info if you're missing any of these cards. When you get the Variant, you'll get the base card, too.
| Card | Series |
|---|---|
| Spider-Woman | 1 |
| Chameleon | 4 |
| Black Cat | 3 |
| Psylocke | 3 |
Shop Priorities
You need to decide how much any of the cosmetics are worth to you. If you’d like to focus on progress value, here’s how you should prioritize your resources. Ellipses represent big gaps in value differences. Remember that the average number of pulls needed for any Portal Pull is 2!
- Chameleon (unowned Series 4) in 1 pull
- …
- Chameleon (unowned Series 4) in 2 pulls
- …
- Credits
- Series 3 Pack
- Psylocke (unowned Series 3)
- Black Cat (unowned Series 3) in 1 pull
- Chameleon (unowned Series 4) in 3 pulls
- Collector's Series 4 Pack

- Black Cat (unowned Series 3) in 2 pulls

Shopping with Gold
If you try buying something when you don't have enough Emblems, the game lets you spend Gold to cover the gap. This is an inefficient way to spend Gold, but if you're going to do it – note that each item has its own Emblems-to-Gold conversion rate (which is obnoxious at best, and I think it's bad that SD does it). That means there's a strategy for which items you spend Emblems on vs. which items you spend Gold on. The higher Emblems / 100 Gold in the purple Shop tables above, the better deal you’re getting.
Every eight hours, you can buy seven Tickets for 50 Gold. This gives you the best deal for converting Gold into Emblems. At a 50% win rate, 7 Tickets are worth 105 Emblems (equal to 210 Emblems per 100 Gold). Of course, you’ll need to actually play games to convert those Tickets into Emblems, so it saves you Gold but costs you time. This may be an even better deal when extra games will help you finish the Pass or avoid burning Missions.
Expected Emblems
This is a section I always cover, but I've expanded it a bit.
The primary goal is to tell you how many Emblems you can expect to have so you can plan your purchases.
If you stop playing when you complete the Pass, you'll have 5,200 Emblems from the Free Pass alone, or 6,250 if you have the Premium Pass.
If you continue playing after finishing the Pass, here's how many Emblems you can expect by spending every Ticket available to you without spending extra Gold. This number is dependent on your win rate.
For the first time, I'm also showing what percentage of the Shop you'll be able to buy with your Emblems.
It doesn't mean much on its own, but it'll be very useful for comparing different LTGM Shops to each other. This came up because I had so many people express how expensive the last High Voltage: Overdrive Shop felt.
Shop % does not include Snap Packs (they're not available to every player) or Borders (they represent almost 80% of the Shop's total cost and I expect there are very few players trying to buy out every Border).
Conclusion
Modern events remain super consistent, and they're mostly in a good place.
The most important prize (the new card) demands pretty little of any player to reach.
And y'know, credit where it's due – this Shop has a bunch of cosmetics that I'm tempted by (which is pretty unusual).
That's not to say I don't have criticisms of LTGMs. One that's been on my mind lately is how bad Tickets are at respecting player's time and encouraging experimentation. I would love to see all LTGMs switch to using Missions as the only bottleneck (like High Voltage).
