Sinister Six: Decks for Weekend Missions
Time for a Sinister weekend! 😈
Here are a variety of decks you can quickly grab to clear this week's Weekend Missions!
Season Pass: Spider-Man Brand New Day
Honestly, this guy fits pretty much anywhere. One of his top-performing decks is just the already-strong Rocks Tempo deck with Spidey jammed in.
If you're missing Tarantula, replace him with Iron Patriot.
If you'd rather play something with a bit of synergy, Spidey buffs Galactus's herald and Isca (who can double the buff), slides in or out of the Prof. X lane, and can fill the Thing's lane on Turn 5 then un-fill it on Turn 6.
Finally, a budget option for players with lower CL.
Series 5: Sinister Six
I've been having so much fun playing with this novel card and exploring its interactions! The question all along has been "how do you win the second lane?", and there are a bunch of different answers.
One clear leader was Fastball Special and Adamantium Infusion. Since you're kinda all-in on that game plan, you need draw power to make sure you get the pieces. Hope lets us have enough energy to play an EVIL 1 + Fastball + Infusion on Turn 6. If you're a Magik gamer, she totally fits here.
Thanos and Wiccan both have great synergies with Sinister Six. Together, they ensure you have the cards and draws to attack the board with stuff besides a single evil team-up. Sinister Six also solves Thanos's board space problem. I'm not a huge fan of Ringmaster Shang, but he helps make sure Wiccan gets prepped.
Destroy has great synergy with Sinister Six. Besides its compatibility with the Fastball + Infusion combo, Sinister Six can pull EVIL cards from the Destroyed pile. Cards like Venom let you double-dip on your Power. This particular flavor comes from Kumatya Games.
This has been my favorite of my own cooks so far. You tempo out high-Power cards, Virus is an extremely solid backup plan (which also deals with the downsides of some cards). And then… I often don't trigger Sinister Six. It has been extremely funny watching opponents play around it. They assume they can take a lane full of EVIL cards with just a few Power. Surely I'll be pulling them into another lane to summon Sinister Six? There's usually a better play, but sometimes, I just play Sinister Six to the board myself.
Both Cards!
Both cards are super flexible, so you should be able to just jam Spidey into any of the Sinister Six decks above.
For good measure, here's one more. This deck uses lots of created cards to help attack a second lane.
