Kluh: Decks for Weekend Missions

Here are a variety of decks you can quickly grab to clear this week's Weekend Missions!

Season Pass: Superior Iron Man

Aurora

This version of Aurora just received -1 (Venus) and +1 (Iron Man) Power adjustments. Seems to me like it’ll still be plenty viable, plus it gets to run Luke which helps with Scorpion matchups.

Replace missing 3-Costs with Awesome Andy, H.E.R.B.I.E., Wong, or Isca. Of course, Isca just took a hit to her Power, too – but a deck with Venus and Aurora will be her best shot of still being playable.

Hand Buff

Significant buffs to Wingbeat and Mister Fantastic FS meant this deck needed a rework to fit them in! This deck is probably less reliable than Aurora, but it has much higher highs.

Series 5: Kluh

Virus

Virus is a great fit for Kluh! It already pumps out good Power at a variety of Costs, plus Kluh’s own Power helps make Skaar cheaper.

Surtur

It's genuinely hard to find top decks that aren’t running Thanos FF. That might be even more true for Kluh, since Thanos mostly just does his job better. It only takes a red, purple, or orange Shot to have comparable Power – and of course the green Shot gives discounts to your whole hand.

Anyway, this features a bunch of cards that synergize with its many big cards – Daredevil, Psylocke, Surtur, Ares, Hydro-Man, and Skaar.

Wiccan

Karen, Wiccan, Kluh, and even Thanos all enjoy having you play three different Costs in the first three turns.

Of course, Quicksilver and Domino are very standard in Wiccan – but they’re able to shine even more as SD prints more cards to synergize with them. I think this deck represents an interesting inversion (how appropriate to the season!): Quicksilver and Domino are the reasons Wiccan is here instead of the other way around (i.e., he might as well be).

Pixie

This deck leverages the three cards with the most proactive uses for Mobius – Pixie, Hydro-Man, and Kluh. Enjoy discounts galore, especially if you get Pixie early.

I think it’s worth mentioning here that Iron Man and Kluh actually have a bit of anti-synergy. Kluh won’t “waste” a discount on something that already costs zero. However, he calculates that before Iron Man doubles his discount, potentially wasting up to two of Kluh’s discounts.
