What to do with Star-Lord, Master of the Sun
Everything I'm Excited to do with the new Star-Lord Card
Have you ever been to a different universe where a mysterious alien gave you powers over light and bestowed upon you the title of Star-Lord, Master of the Sun? No? Well it happened to Peter Quill! The new Season Pass card stores up your Energy and banks it for later! Here is everything I want to try with Star-Lord, Master of the Sun!

Energy Dividend
Essentially, Energy you skip throughout the game can be converted into Power on Star-Lord, MotS and Energy you can use later. No more wasted Energy! Think of him as the Energy savings and loan bank.
For each turn you skip, you can get one Power on Star-Lord and then you can still spend that Energy afterwards. For maximum value, it's best if you're not skipping a lot of Energy each turn – from a return on investment perspective, you're getting more value by skipping a single Energy each turn than by skipping a lot of Energy. One Energy for one Power is still not a great ratio, but you then get all of that Energy back to pay with later making the Power gain essentially free! It's hard to stress how much more viable this card became when it was updated to also include a Power gain.
Credit Union
You could honestly view Star-Lord, MotS as having value even if you don't have further synergy with floating Energy. But if we're being rewarded in one way for skipping, it makes sense to get paid off for that in other ways too!

The main skip payoffs are She-Hulk, Sunspot, and the various cards that High Evolutionary evolves. I think the best first place to start is with High Evo, but I don't think it's the only place for Star-Lord, MotS. There are also payoffs for having extra Energy like Jim Hammond.
Star Burst
Sun Burn
Portfolio Diversity
To find non-Evo homes for Star-Lord, MotS, we need to find decks that can always profitably use a bunch of extra Energy on the final turn.
Daytime Zombies
Werewolf by Late Afternoon
High-Risk Mortgages
Ok, we've got the straightforward strategies out of the way. We all know you rely on Fourth Location for shenanigans.
Supernova
Fin Fang Zola
Skip ⇨ Jim Hammond ⇨ Jennifer Kale ⇨ Magik ⇨ Symbiote Spider-Man ⇨ Star-Lord, MotS + Agony ⇨ Fin Fang Foom + Arnim Zola
Is He Worth It?
The Season Pass is always worth it compared to any other spending in Marvel Snap, so he's definitely worth it. How does he stack up to Season Pass cards? We've definitely had much better ones (Shou-Lao, Merlin), but he's a lot better than some others (Weapon X, Esme Cuckoo). He's a pretty open ended card and I'm confident someone is going to find a great use for him, but it's the type of card it's hard to solve before we have him in our hands.
