Tarantula Week: Decks for Weekend Missions

Here are a variety of decks you can quickly grab to clear this week's Weekend Missions!

Season Pass: Spider-Man Brand New Day

Honestly, this guy fits pretty much anywhere. One of his top-performing decks is just the already-strong Rocks deck with Spidey jammed in.

If you'd rather play something with a bit of synergy, Spidey buffs Galactus's herald and Isca (who can double the buff), slides in or out of the Prof. X lane, and can fill the Thing's lane on Turn 5 then un-fill it on Turn 6.

Series 5: Tarantula

As expected, Tarantula works in the already-strong Techno-Organic Virus decks to help trigger his ability and get the snowball rolling.

Considering his ability is End of Turn, Tarantula can also fit in with Aurora and friends.

Of course you can jam both of them in the Rocks-Virus deck. Strangely, Virus-less versions seem to be performing better among the decks running both cards. I'd say it's that Tarantula is filling a similar role to Virus, even if he's worse at the job.

Here's a third synergy for Tarantula – Hand Buff! Brood, Maverick, Shaw, and Stick can all multiply the buffs he hands out. I just worry this deck will have a harder time getting the Tarantula ball rolling in the first place.

Finally, a deck from pie_charts on the Fourth Location Discord. It also capitalized on the Shaw synergy, while also having a few heavy hitters who can ensure you meet Tarantula's condition.
