Red Wolf Fractured Frontier: Decks for Weekend Missions

Here are a variety of decks you can quickly grab to clear this week's Weekend Missions!

Season Pass: Thanos Fractured Frontier

Venus

Many of the top-performing Thanos decks are running Venus. That's not what I expected to be best for him, but aiming Thanos’s Reality Shot (the one that clones) at Venus or Marvel Boy seems strong!

Virus

Put a good card in a good deck! The Reality Shot is universally one of the best, but it’s particularly good here, where you can clone something that has a lot of Power!

Space Shot lets you move Thanos's Power elsewhere afterwards. Time Shot’s discounts make it very likely you’ll be able to play at least one extra card. Power Shot takes Thanos above 10 Power, making him a Skaar friend.

Wong

Mostly, Thanos is just a very solid mid-range, “good stuff” 5-Cost. Wong turns him into a nasty Combo piece instead. Have Wong alone in a lane, play Thanos there, and watch as the Reality Shot creates two copies of Wong. Every shot that follows will fire four times each.

Then you move your (very large) Thanos out of the lane and play Shou-Lao, Aurora, or Jane Foster on the three Wongs. By the way, Time Shot will discount everything in your hand by 4 (before Mind Shot draws cards).

Thanks to Thanos, midrange is everywhere right now. Big combo decks will go taller as long as they can avoid tech.

There are a bunch of ways to do this deck (I’m partial to fitting in Yellowjacket/Wasp and Crystal). The Shou-Lao version comes from Smlz. I'm not sure who originated Aurora, but it has risen to the top over the past week.

High Evo (Budget)

This is the budget deck for Thanos. High Evo is a Series 5, but the other 10 cards are Series 3 or lower. There’s some anti-synergy between Thanos and She-Hulk, so I’d treat him more like a backup plan here.

Series 5: Red Wolf Fractured Frontier

Zombie Galacti

This is one deck that really leans into Red Wolf's Quickdraw. While he'll be fine without it (if he's not a Galacti target), several of the other cards are capable of multiplying his buff (Maverick, Jubilee, Stick, and Zombie Galacti). Notably, his On Reveal also sets up Superior Spider-Man to start giving out extra Energy.

Zoo

Red Wolf synergizes with Sub-Mariner and Clea in a couple ways. He both can trigger their abilities by buffing them, or can be made stronger by their created cards increasing your hand size. As a bonus, this'll let you take Mad Thinker's new buff out for a spin.

Dino (Budget)

This has very little synergy with the Hand Buff side of Red Wolf (only Iron Man can multiply the buff). However, it works great with the Hand Size side. This deck features a bunch of ways to generate cards, which will make Red Wolf's On Reveal bigger, with or without the Quickdraw.

Created cards fill up your hand, amplifying Red Wolf's ability. Additionally, Frigga making a copy of Red Wolf is a great way to get a very big 2-Cost.

Bounce

I heard a few people suggesting Red Wolf in Bounce before his release. I've always been skeptical about it – how will you have enough cards in hand if you're constantly playing or picking up a bunch of cheap cards? That said, the stats make it seem viable and Red Wolf is even one of the top cards in the deck.

Aurora

Honestly, this is probably the easiest route to four wins with both cards. Red Wolf makes the deck worse, but Aurora is strong enough to handle the hit. Plug in Surge once you finish your Red Wolf missions.
