Red Hulk Fractured Frontier: Decks for Weekend Missions

Here are a variety of decks you can quickly grab to clear this week's Weekend Missions!

Season Pass: Thanos Fractured Frontier

Aurora

From early on, many of the top Thanos decks were running Venus. These have evolved to run Aurora, too. Incidentally, this deck can also do greedy Wong things.

If Thanos fires Reality Shot on a lane with only Wong, he’ll fill the lane with Wongs. Space Shot lets him move out of the way so you can fire Aurora on three Wongs.

Virus

Put a good card in a good deck! The Reality Shot is universally one of the best, but it’s particularly good here, where you can clone something that has a lot of Power! Time Shot should help you get an extra card out and Power Shot makes Thanos a Skaar friend!

Big Scorp

It's a rare deck that can’t be improved by Thanos and… Affliction isn’t one of them. Scorpion SMBND is still a meta force, and the new Hellcow makes it even stronger.

High Evo (Budget)

This is the budget deck for Thanos. High Evo is a Series 5, but the other 10 cards are Series 3 or lower. There’s some anti-synergy between Thanos and She-Hulk, so I’d treat him more like a backup plan here.

Series 5: Red Hulk Fractured Frontier

Frankly, just about every Red Hulk deck should be running Thanos, too. These are viable options if you don’t have the Season Pass, but otherwise you should skip down to the decks rocking both cards.

Virus

So far, Red Hulk FF is probably the Quickdraw card that benefits the most from Doc Ock FF. Red Hulk is usually safe to play on Turn 3 (even without an active Quickdraw). Otherwise, you may want to set him up to be drawn again.

Doc sets him to 11 Power and then you should have no problem getting another 2–4 from his On Reveal. Between Virus, Doc’s buff, and his own On Reveal, it should be pretty easy to have Red Hulk discount Skaar.

Quinjet’s here for Virus, but will also discount Doc’s created card.

Man-Spider/Panther

Red Hulk can often be a solid Gladiator replacement. The potential downside is less significant (losing a Power vs. adding 9+ Power to your opponent’s board) and when you get the Quickdraw he ends up even bigger. In a pinch, he can be a solid card for Man-Spider to absorb.

Note that if you play Absorbing Man on the same turn you draw him, he will use Red Hulk’s Quickdraw.

On Reveal (Budget)

Red Hulk is a poor Odin target, but otherwise represents solid power in the early game. His Quickdraw is pretty great on Wong, as long as you don’t need to play Odin in that lane later.

Aurora

It turns out some Red Hulk’s best homes have a lot of overlap with Thanos’s best. Here, both Hellcow FF and Red Hulk FF are 3-Cost stat sticks that Aurora buffs!

Virus

It's too early to say for sure, but it looks like Red Hulk might be in the best version of Virus. Thanos definitely is.

Created Cards

Quinjet teams up with a handful of Quickdraws to justify the new Doc Ock. The Quickdraws put out big Power while the created cards keep you unpredictable and feed Gambit.
