Friendly Neighborhood Carnage: Decks for Weekend Missions

Here are a variety of decks you can quickly grab to clear this week's Weekend Missions!

Season Pass: Superior Iron Man

This deck is better without Superior Iron Man, but it still puts up good stats with him. It has several ways to discount and buff him, plus it gets to run Luke which helps with Scorpion matchups.

Replace missing 3-Costs with Awesome Andy, H.E.R.B.I.E., Wong, or Isca.

Buff

An option for those sick of Cowboy Thanos. This throws lots of buffs around, with Venus, Wolverine, and Iron Man amplifying them. The original had Tarantula – who is a cool inclusion, but I really wanted Wingbeat as a second way to ensure Wolverine can hit 5 Power (the other being Andy). Plus, Iron Man is an amazing Wingbeat target.

Move

The reality of the current meta game – Jane and Thanos are so generically good that the best Move deck right now might just be the one that uses them.

I’ve also included something more focused on Move, with Heimdall as a big finisher. Note both Carnage and Heimdall move cards in position order (locations left-to-right, positions top-to-bottom then left-to-right). This might be important for timing Sparky!

Cosmo wins games when paired with Cloak or Madame Web to snipe an enemy On Reveal.

Carnage has two main roles here: reunite Lin Lie with his sword, and be a big card for Frigga or Nico to copy.

Lie’s worth 13 Power when armed. Play him in the middle and Carnage will definitely be able to bring sword to Fist (or vice versa).

If you leave the board space open, a copy of Carnage can realistically hit 3/10 +6. Play the original on the left, then move the same cards from middle to right with the copy.

Wiccan

This is admittedly the exact same deck I used for Kluh’s article last week, with Rogue subbing in for Kluh. The thing is… it’s hard to find a home for two decent 5-Costs when almost every deck should also be running the best 5-Cost in the entire game.

There are a bunch of great 3-Costs that could be subbed in if you think Mobius is boring or you’re missing one of the others. I’d personally go for Psylocke FF or Crystal. If you’re missing Karen, sub in En Sabah Nur or another 3-Cost.

Moveable

Look, Aunt May decks aren’t super strong, but they are super fun! This features three sources of Power buffs and two sources of Cost discounts for Iron Man. Wingbeat and Spider-Sense are both big buffs for Iron Man, worth +6 apiece. You can get a ton of value from a Thanos clone here, so be mindful of what you’re cloning (and whether it still has its Moveable ability available to it).

I think Surge and Psylocke FF could both be good fits to help discount Iron Man further. Either could replace Sam Wilson. Surge could also replace Vision or even Thanos if you’re sick of the guy – but of course the deck is better with him.
