Boomerang Week: Decks for Weekend Missions

Here are a variety of decks you can quickly grab to clear this week's Weekend Missions!

Season Pass: Spider-Man Brand New Day

Honestly, this guy fits pretty much anywhere. One of his top-performing decks is just the already-strong Rocks deck with Spidey jammed in.

If you'd rather play something with a bit of synergy, Spidey buffs Galactus's herald and Isca (who can double the buff), slides in or out of the Prof. X lane, and can fill the Thing's lane on Turn 5 then un-fill it on Turn 6.

Series 5: Boomerang

Boomerang fits right where'd you expect: Bounce and Affliction.

Several of the bounce options ran Mother Askani, but I expect they'll be fairly hurt by this week's OTA. One alternative uses Shou and Sasquatch on the high-end. Having heaps of cheap cards benefits both of their abilities!

If you want a lower curve, swap out Shou for Hood, Black Swan, Falcon, Grandmaster, or Sage.

This is really similar to what I was rocking for fun when Luke's Bar was hot this week. The deck style is quite fun. Boomerang is kinda just worse Scorpion here, but even his single bounce benefits Horse Polaris, Doc Ock, Ikari, and Ajax.

I'd personally swap Red Guardian out for Grandmaster.

Zero promises on the quality of this deck. I couldn't find a single Bounce-Afflict hybrid that's performing well, but it seems really fun so I put my own spin on it. I'd love to squeeze in U.S. Agent… maybe over Nico or Falcon?

Or, if you want to crank up the zaniness, may I suggest Horse Polaris? She's an awesome payoff card for Boomerang, but becomes a double-edged sword when teamed up with Bounce enablers.

Spidey BND and Boomerang don't mix well. If there were any home for them, it would be Move Bounce – but each of them makes it worse.

Alternatively, throw Boomerang in any of the Spidey decks above, or jam them both into Arishem.
