Arena Grande - An April 'Pools Day Celebration!
Happy April ‘Pool’s Day!
It’s time for Arena Grande, presented by Deadpool! This special April Fool’s edition of Grand Arena has been chopped and screwed in a very Deadpool-y way! It should be a lot of fun and is goofy in the way April Fool’s events ought to be! Let’s check it out!

How It Works
Arena Grande is a short, Deadpool-tweaked version of Grand Arena with 8 incredibly goofy decks. Arena Grande will only be here from April 1-3. All of the decks break the normal singleton rule of Marvel Snap and include multiple copies of the same card! They tend to be heavy on RNG and go all-in on one strategy. Let's check them out!
Remember: You start with 2 Energy and you start with the Champion and their Skill in your hand!

Which One is the Best? The Most Fun?
Trying to rank these is a fool's errand. There's just so much randomness and silly stuff. They all have really high ceilings. The Ongoing and Destroy decks look very reliable, which will give them an edge across large samples. The Hulk and Herbie decks have the highest ceilings, but will live and die on variance luck. Hulk and Herbie also look the most fun to me. Rocks actually look the weakest to me, even if you get 3 Ozymandiases down – there's little spike potential. The movers deck appeals to me greatly as someone who has played with those cards a lot, but it will be the deck with the highest skill differential. Don't sleep on Thors. Remember, Thor starts in hand and with two copies of Jane in the deck, you will get one of them by Turn 5 reliably (though it will diminish the more hammers you actually manage to shuffle in). In the end, the Galacti/Torch deck will end up the most annoying to play against. With extra Energy no tech to stop it, that deck can slam a Giant Zombi Galaci on the last turn pretty easily and will be unstoppable when you high roll the Torch Power onto your Galacti.
Final Thoughts
Between the goofy multiple copies decks, the inexpensive Pass, and the short length, this is just about everything I could hope for from an April Fool’s event. I hope to see Second Dinner cutting loose and having fun like this more often in the future!
The event is super simple, but if you want a maybe-too-serious guide (Lauren’s words) to the Grande Arena Economy, you can read Lauren’s article next!
