About Fourth Location

Fourth Location is a Marvel Snap fan site by LaurenWhatevs and Scott Denham. We have the things you’d expect: news, opinions, decks, and analysis. On top of that, it’s a place for us to make any sort of content we want, from meticulous data dives to explorations of wacky Marvel lore.

A Paywall? In This Economy?

Looking for a longer explanation of why we have a paid premium content? The majority of what you will find on this site will be absolutely free (and ad-free). Some of the content you'll find here is exclusive to our premium members or provided to them early. We've done this for a couple of reasons. First, we love talking and writing about Snap, but it is hard to justify spending as much time as we do on it when we have jobs and families. We spend a lot of time discussing and thinking about Marvel Snap already and adding a paywall to some of our content is going to allow us to create even more content. Second, specialized tools and long-form articles take time to create and this will allow us to give the community extra goodies that we would not otherwise be able to produce. Fourth Location is an attempt to give you MORE content, not just a way to charge you for what we've already been producing. Last, it was important to us to provide a low-advertisement experience. We want our site to be enjoyable to visit and a place you'll want to come back to again and again. Your financial assistance really helps both of us produce more content and we are eternally grateful for those who are able to support us. You can support us by joining the Supporter ($4) or Champion ($12) supporter levels. If you can't contribute financially, there will still be plenty of Fourth Location content for you!
